Jim Morrison, Icons, Symbols and Magic: What Icon Best Represents Deon?

It has come to my remembrance that Jim Morrison was aka “the lizard king,” Michael Jackson was “the king of pop,” Batman had his bats, Catwoman had her cats, Spiderman had his spiders, Wolverine had his… wolverine, and so on.  With this in mind, Deon Mumple, aka Nombre de la Pluma, needs his own animal icon. Because which pop was Michael Jackson king of?  Root Beer?  Grape Nehi?  Sprite?  Hard telling.

These and others have been taken.  Your suggestions are welcome.  Purple is an ideal color.  Or maybe dark purple and dark green…  Something dark and wise and perhaps evil or perhaps good or perhaps uncertain.  Owls are awkward, I know someone would probably suggest it otherwise.

I’m wondering about something suggested in the Bible, but there are several options there.  It should be an animal, something primal.  Just not a ram, a lion, a lamb, or a dove, these are too closely identified as sacrificial or divine symbols.

I’ll eventually decide whether anyone suggests something or not, but I welcome the fun of a debate and friendly discussion of options.  If you suggest a religious icon, I’ll need a context, like chapter and verse, regardless of what religion you choose.  And feel free to borrow from whatever religious context you want, as this is all in good fun.
